Cheap canteen inside fancy shopping centre on a Red square! You can find it in the last floor of GUM. It's in Soviet style with typically russian food at low prices! Mains at 200 - 400 rubles. A great option if you're nearby the Red Square! But be prepared to wait in a queue.
Popular chain of cafe where you can try pelmeni or vareniki, and also other Russian dishes. If you can't decide what to try I advice to order a set - with meat, vegetables or sweet. I tried sweet (435 rubles for 420gramms) and it was very tasty - vareniki with sweet cottage cheese, berries, apple with cinnamon….Want to come back and try it again!
